A Note of Explanation for D.I.Y.

The Chord diagrams presented here are a close approximation of the same notes played by the piano/organ from the hymnal. The main difference is the guitar chords diagrams represent the notes one octave higher.

Some Hymns needed transposing to a "Guitar Friendly" key and from there the notes could be put into the diagram format. For example, hymns in A^b, transpose the complete hymn half step lower to G.(B^b to A; D^b to C; E^b to D, etc.)most hymns in dificult keys could be transposed half step lower, then diagrammed, and played with capo at first fret, which has the guitar playing very close to notes played by keyboards.
